Children in Need
We came to school in our spotty and stripy clothes and went for a ramble around the school field. It was very exciting when Pudsey Bear came to visit us!
It was lovely to see so many parents and grandparents at our Mark Making and Early Writing Wow Morning. We all had lots of fun!
We have had a very busy few weeks settling into Reception. Take a look at what we have been doing.
In science we have been thinking about how the trees change in autumn. We went for a walk to the Jubilee Garden to look at the trees and collect leaves and twigs for our art work.
Sensory Club is an after school club for reception children. It is on a Tuesday 3.30 pm -4.30 pm in Blue Class and is run by Mrs Harding and Miss Lord. Children take part in various activities using their senses to explore. Here are some of the activities we did last half term.
Reading at home
Please can your child bring their book bag to school everyday with their reading book and reading record inside. Each time your child reads at home and gets their reading record signed they will receive a 'Dip in the Box'. Children can change their reading books and library books as often as they choose using the self-service book area in their classroom entrance.
